“Cartridges for Kids”

Help preserve the environment and support PETS

Cartridges for Kids is a a recycling program that pays schools and non-profit organizations cash for cell phones, empty laser and inkjet cartridges, laptops, iPods®, PDAs, video games and consoles, scientific graphing calculators, digital cameras, DVDs, GPS devices and iPads®/tablets/eReaders.

You can easily drop off the following electronic items in our “big red tub” at our barn (W-1):

  • Used cell phones
  • Video game consoles (include all accessories)
  • Video games (include case)
  • Empty inkjet and toner cartridges
  • GPS systems
  • Digital cameras (include all accessories)
  • Laptops (include power cords)
  • PDAs/PalmPilots (include all accessories)
  • iPods (include all accessories)
  • DVD movies (include original packaging)

If you can’t get to the barn, call 301-627-4308 for pickup information. Download and post this Recycle Flyer in your office building or workspace to help spread the word
