Over the course of a year, the cost of feed, shoes, standard veterinary care, and other expenses for our program horses can add up . We invite you to partner with PETS in the care of our horses, and sponsor a PETS horse!
For your annual donation you will receive:
- Certificate of Sponsorship with a picture of your horse
- A tax deductible donation receipt
- Personalized periodic updates on your horse
- Recognition on the PETS Website
Sponsorships are available to individuals, companies, clubs, or any other organization.

NEEDED FOR ‘Dancer’
HAY-or HEY—-Can you help us? PETS, Progressive Equestrian Therapeutic Services needs winter home sponsorship for ‘Dancer’, one of our ‘4’ legged volunteers. He has a home for the winter, but we are looking for someone (or a group) to sponsor his winter care.
PETS is a nonprofit 501 (3) c, 100% volunteer organization which provides a skill based program of horseback riding and horsemanship to residents of Prince George’s County who have disabilities at no charge to the participants.
PETS has no consistent funding source and is dependent on the kindness of the community for donations of volunteer service, equipment, and funds in order to exist.
>> Winter care of a horse or sponsorship of boarding a PETS horse is a tax deductible donation. <<
Winter Care (boarding) for a PETS horse includes:
-Feed-Grain
-Hay
-Barn Stall and turn-out area
-Blanketing on cold days
-Farrier Care
-Worming
-Veterinary Care (Covered by PETS)
-Dental Care (Covered by PETS)
